About Me

I am Anthony and I hail from the United Kingdom. I live in a small house with my partner, somewhere in the East Midlands not far from Nottingham. I work in the hospitality industry and have done so for far to long.

I was born in Lancashire and feel 100% Lancastrian despite the fact I grew up in the wilds of Scotland. My accent is a muddle of Scottish and Lancastrian. I am unable to say certain words without sounding like one or the other.

I have a degree in Politics and American Studies both of which I still have a keen interest in. Politically I would describe myself as centre left verging on socialist. I love gardening, history, books, travelling, photography, art, walking, museums, certain strains of music and one band called British Sea Power. I am not a fan of many things but I wont dwell on those here. All I want from life is to be happy, which I am 99% of the time. I dream of living on an old farm in the middle of nowhere and being my own boss (not there yet but trying)

I have three cats, Noble, Yan and Flow (short for Scappaflow) all named after British Sea Power (band) inspired things. I also have four chickens Speckle, Beaky, Duchess and Matron all named by the Mrs. I would like more chickens but I am not allowed.
